Five people on board a small plane died when it crashed in a field near Mostar. The police minister of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton said the pilot, an adult male and three children were killed in the accident that happened Saturday afternoon.
Police teams and rescuers rushed to the crash site. They were joined by a local prosecutor.
The identity of the victims or the cause of the crash were unknown on Saturday. It is presumed that the plane took off for a panoramic flight from the Mostar airport, which organized an open door day on Saturday. The visitors were offered parachute jumps with trained parachutists and panoramic flights.
