One in Two Bosnians Feels European According to a Survey

According to a survey by a public relations agency, one in two Bosnians feels European. The PRIME Communications agency conducted the survey on whether Bosnians feel European in April this year. 1,500 respondents were asked the question.


57.1 percent of respondents said they feel European; 35.5 percent said no. 7.5 percent couldn’t decide.

Broken down by ethnic groups, Bosniaks feel most European – 71.6%, followed by Bosnian Croats – 61 percent, and Bosnian Serbs – 32.1 percent. Serbs also feel least European – 61 percent, followed by Croats – 24 percent, and Bosniaks – 22.8 percent.

The population surveyed is representative of the Bosnian general population older than 18. The margin of error is 3 percent.
