South Korean electronics maker financed an apps lab that opened Friday at the Sarajevo University’s electrical engineering school, ETF. The Samsung Apps Lab is designed to give the students an environment where they can develop app ideas with Samsung-made devices, the company and school reps said at the lab opening.
“The value of this donation is €48,000 euros and we believe that this school is a good place for promotion of science and technology,” said Marketing Director at Samsung Adriatic, Milan Vojović.
Vojović went on to say that it is important the students who will work in the lab get ready for the demands in the job market after they graduate.
The lab is equipped with sixteen PC work stations, tablet computers and GEAR devices, a server, a wireless network and two smart television sets.
