Bosnia’s leading retail chain will reopen its Mostar shopping center that burned to the ground in April this year. The rebuilt Bingo center, with additional features according to the chain, is set to open next Friday.
Six months ago, the supermarket just outside Mostar burned to the ground when a faulty electrical cable caught on fire, according to the investigators. There were no casualties as the fire ripped through the Bingo center after business hours.
The supermarket fire happened just over a month after Bingo took over the position of the leading grocery retailer in Bosnia, previously held by Agrokor-owned Konzum chain.
The rebuilt Bingo in Mostar will now have a “retail park”, according to the company, which will be located adjacent to the main building, with shops of brands like DM, Deichmann and Sport Vision.
